UPDATES Kalico - 23/08/08 - SHINSHI DOUMEI CROSS Wallpaper Count: 141 Finally! Some time to update!
I've had a bit of time and have a couple of walls lying around, so when I get the time to update with them, I will. For now, here is a Shinshi Doumei cross wall that took me FOREVER.
See? I'm not dead. | THE GENTLEMENS ALLIANCE by kalico This was a very very ambitious vector for me. The original scan was black and white and I made it color obviously. I wanted to make it almost look as if it were an anime scan, but not really since that would take away from the artwork too much. It took me a solid 5 months to vector it, with spending maybe an hour or 2 a week. I had to make up all the lighting in my head. |
I'LL CLOSE MY EYES AND DRIFT AWAY by kalico Well, A long time ago in an attempt to back-up my laptop I archived all my walls onto some obscurely named folder on my external HD. Today, I explored that HD and found this wall, half finished. So, because I like the scan, I decided to finish it!
It's nothing special, just a simple wall of a girl laying in some grass. Like I said, I like the scan, and so, a nice simple relaxing wall was what I wanted to do. Scan was a bit of a bitch to work with cause her arms and legs aren't all flat in the grass, so I had to kind of decipher in some places which parts i should have up, and which should be in the grass.
| HEAVEN AND HELL AGAINST US by kalico The Demon Ororon is such an awesome and amazing manga, that I just had to make a wall for it. I wanted to portray the negative space the manga gives, as well as capture how Ororon and Chiaki feel with everyone out to kill them. Just a simple wall, with simple colors and an amazing image. |
WELCOME TO THE SHOW by kalico This is a very overdue Birthday present for metalmallow who has actually vanished off the face of the earth. I guess he can just see it if he comes back. I came up with the idea of Koyuki entering someplace. I decided on a concert. i didn't really want to make him entering a stage. That was lame. So, I decided to do him entering from the back of a concert, which I've been to a couple concerts where they did that (singer and guitarist only). I wanted to keep the vector and everything simple, cause I just felt like it I guess.
